Dear Residents of Woodland Park,

The 2024 budget aims to cover operational costs and fund essential and requested community upgrades. All proposed upgrades are divided into categories based on their order of importance and will require ongoing maintenance, which will be accounted for in future budgets.

YOUR MONTHLY ASSESSMENT WILL INCREASE FROM $55 TO ONE OF THESE BUDGETS BASED ON FEEDBACK RECEIVED. THE HOA CAN'T KEEP THE CURRENT ASSESSMENT FOR NEXT YEAR DUE TO INCREASING COSTS IN ALL BUDGET CATEGORIES.

Your feedback is critical and is needed by September 13.

The form allows you to submit your preferred budget and comments. The board will select the best budget based on your feedback.

ONE FORM SUBMISSION PER HOUSEHOLD.  Choose carefully as the board will only receive one notification per household. All submissions will be reviewed to make sure they come only from the homeowner.

Planned Community Upgrades for 2024 and Beyond

Pool Fence Upgrade: $40,000 (Estimate)

• Completion Year: 2024
• Increase fence height from 4 to 6 feet.
• Improve pool access system to minimize trespassers and fob bypass.

Speed Humps 3-Phase Proposal over 3 years: $20,000/year (Estimate) See proposal here.

• Phase 1: Main entrances and amenity area 
•  Completion Year: 2024 
• Includes a 50% incentive from the county and an estimated $20,000 from our county commissioner.
• Phase 2: Older part of the community
• Completion Year: 2025
• Phase 3: Newest part of the community
• Completion Year: 2026

Park Benches: $14,760 (Estimate)

• Completion Year: 2024
• 8 benches: 4 for the amenity area (by soccer field) and 4 for the Evita St Field.

Water Fountains for Two Ponds: $22,000 (Estimate)

• Locations: Scarlet Branch and Pearl Cyder ponds

Sports Complex: $127,520 (Estimate)

• Completion Year: 2024 or spread over 3 years.
• Features may include tennis courts, basketball courts, and volleyball courts.
• Location: in the amenity area by the soccer field.

Budget Options

$70 Budget:

• No improvements, but it will include allowance for unexpected emergencies and repairs as needed.

$75 Budget

• Includes: All Operations of Woodland Park HOA + Pool Fence, Speed Humps Phase 1, and 8 Park Benches

$85 Budget

• Includes: Everything from the $75 Budget
• Additional Funds for Sports Complex (1st year of a 3-year funding plan)
• Water Fountains for Two Ponds

$95 Budget

• Includes: Everything from the $85 Budget
• Fully funds the Sports Complex in one year.
